Collaboration, team work –and continuing to develop an inclusive and fair work environment so all LotusWorks employees thrive, is the company’s priority. The recognition is proof the company is on course to achieving their goal.

This recognition was announced Wednesday, February 21st, at the official Great Place to Work gala event at the Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin, and there was a representative team from LotusWorks present.

This is the second year LotusWorks is named as a top Irish workplace, and the recognition is awarded following an in-depth employee survey and an assessment of the company’s policies and practices. Due to the growth of the company in the last 12 months, LotusWorks are recognised this year in the Best Large Sized Workplace category in Ireland 2018.

Mark Butler, LotusWorks HR Manager commented “The Great Place To Work methodology is the perfect framework to support our most important asset – our people. Working to that framework is empowering our teams and our management nationwide. Having access to our employees true opinions and suggestions, means we can set achievable goals to continue to build trust and fairness within the company in tandem with the substantial growth we’re experiencing. We’re really honoured and delighted to be named in the 2018 best workplaces, our employees deserve this”.

Great Place to Work® Ireland have been recognising great workplaces, through the publication of their Best Workplaces in Ireland lists, for over 15 years, and the number of high-trust workplaces in Ireland is increasing; an indication that organisations are continuing to discover the business benefits of developing a culture where all employees are empowered to do their best work.

“While money was the currency of success in the past, trust is the currency of success now, and into the future”, said John Ryan, CEO of Great Place to Work® Ireland, “we are increasingly living in a world of interdependencies, where we need to be sure who we can rely on. The listed organisations this year have separated themselves from their peers by leveraging the power of trust, to the benefit of all their stakeholders, and that is why I want to extend my congratulations to one and all on a wonderful achievement”

Within LotusWorks, its fact that people are our business, they care about investing in their teams, their health and making sure that they are happy and progressive in their careers within the company. The GPTW structure is allowing LotusWorks to properly assess its strengths and address weaknesses.

This year’s recognition definitely came on the back of the hard work, collaboration and teamwork from the employees nationwide.  The company had an enthusiastic and resourceful 2017 GPTW Working Group, tasked with discussing and bringing forward improvements on specific areas which were highlighted in the 2017 GPTW report. The team implemented a number of changes which has contributed directly to the rising trust levels LotusWorks is now experiencing within the company.

Marketing & Communications Manager Emer Conroy comments “The GPTW Working group was established to capture and discuss what works well on sites nationwide & then apply what’s working well across our organisation. Gaining an understanding on what’s valued by the teams, allowed us to implement initiatives and changes which were welcomed. There’s plenty more to be done, but this year’s team did an exceptional job and has set the bar high for the next success”.

Congratulations to all at LotusWorks and well done.
