A number of employees working with the LotusWorks team in the USA have recently been awarded accreditations from the Building Commissioning Certification Board (BCCB) as Associate Commissioning Professionals and Certified Commissioning Professionals.

The Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP)

The Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) represents an individual who leads, plans, coordinates and manages a commissioning team to implement commissioning processes in new and existing buildings. CCPs have demonstrated knowledge, and experience, and passed a rigorous exam on the commissioning process and technical knowledge needed to provide a quality service.

The Associated Commissioning Professional accreditation represents a candidate on track for the CCP which demands further experience and learning on the process of commissioning.

Recognizing the efforts of the commissioning teams, LotusWorks Commissioning Manager, Pat Kyne (CCP, LEED, AP) commented on the achievement of the employees – “We are currently seeing the efforts of experience and learning being translated into professional accreditations. Congratulations to those recently awarded and good luck to the current candidates who are studying towards the ACP”.

“We also have further staff members currently working towards LEED Green Associate and LEED Accredited Professional certifications and we wish them luck”.

Team members pursue CCP recognition for many reasons. The CCP designation sets those certified apart as someone with the commitment, dedication, and knowledge to succeed. The CCP designation is recognised world-wide in the building commissioning industry and has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) based on the International Standard ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024:2012.

LotusWorker’s recently certified include Ger Nolan’s CCP, James Kenny CCP and Mark Kavanagh CCP. Two more LotusWorker’s also attained ACP recognition. Congratulations to Zac Cooney ACP and David Dunne ACP.

In May 2019 the Building Commissioning Certification Board (BCCB) re-certified LotusWorks as a commissioning firm that adheres to the industries best practices and provides the highest quality service to clients by awarding the company a Certified Commissioning Firm recognition.
