Job Purpose:

As a Project Coordinator working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in Medford, MA.

In your role as Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management and development of commissioning mechanical systems and cleanroom manufacturing in a high-tech manufacturing facility commissioning projects including maintenance, equipment modification, process change, and control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidelines and supervise field activity day to day activity. 
  • Work with EHS and system owner to make sure personnel or environment is not impacted. 
  • Coordinate with trades during shutdown & startup of facilities equipment. 
  • Study factory system/ projects and prepare pull plans. 
  • Conduct whiteboard meeting with trades supervisory and prepare schedule weekly. 
  • Review QAQC walk and OAT documentation. 
  • Ensure installation as per Master Specification and standards. 
  • Audit pre task plan and perform SIPP for safety and site regulation compliance. 
  • Participate as project team member in Design Review meetings and provide suggestions and inputs to ensure complete project deliverables are provided by contracted design team. 
  • Review component submittal packages. 
  • Audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. 
  • Monitor Mechanical, Electrical, Process & Instrumentation work progress.
  • Own safety within area of influence, ensuring system operation reliability to avoid impact or interruption to manufacturing facilities. 
  • Collaborate with construction and operation teams to ensure projects meet design criteria. scope, budget. and schedule. 
  • Review sub contractor's performance through effective communication on daily operation, including maintenance. modification to equipment, process change and control, etc., to drive improvement on facilities systems reliability and efficiency. 
  • Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost through driving key stakeholders while maintaining systems reliability. 


  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years' experience in engineering/ facilities engineering. 
  • 2 years' experience in project management.
  • 2 years' experience in installation and testing of control and small wires.
  • 2 years' experience in site work including installation, faultfinding & QAOC, safety audit.
  • 2 years' experience in technical writing.
  • 2 years' experience with contractor management.
  • 1 year experience updating and managing construction data including milestone dates, requests for information (RFI) design changes and change orders.
  • Must be willing to work on Medford, MA and various unanticipated client sites.
