Your Job Purpose:

As a Project Coordinator working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Medford, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Client sites.

You will be responsible for monitoring the execution of the project scope.

 

Your Job Description:

  • Provide Project Manager(s) with relevant schedule, financial, and field information to facilitate oversight of construction trades.
  • Maintain a collaborative environment with Contractors, Suppliers, System Owners and Stakeholders.
  • Track project objectives and milestones; monitor the development and implementation of the necessary processes and procedures, action plans, schedules, and budgets of assigned projects.
  • Review design packages in preparation for construction planning sessions.
  • Run project planning sessions as a quality control and provide input on constructability.
  • Support the change management process in providing clarification and guidance on change order needs.
  • Identify and assist in the mitigation of project risks and monitor the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Establish, coordinate and attend/conduct all necessary Construction Coordination meetings.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering scope, and overall project status.
  • Ensure all required project documentation is completed in a timely manner and is maintained in the appropriate master project files inclusive of all reports, logs, submittals, RFIs, specifications and drawings, correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
  • Will supervise 2-5 subordinate and peer employees such as Mechanical Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, Commissioning Engineer.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, plus 5 years of industry experience as a Construction Coordinator, Project/Field Engineer, Superintendent or a related occupation.
  • In the alternative, employer will accept Master’s degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, plus 3 years of industry experience as a Construction Coordinator, Project/Field Engineer, Superintendent or a related occupation.  Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
  • 3 years' experience in project management.
  • 3 years' experience in site work including installation, fault finding and QAOC, safety audit.
  • 3 years' experience in technical writing.
  • 3 years' experience with contractor management.
  • 3 years’ experience with database spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel, Access Software.
  • 3 years’ experience reading P&IDs and Complex BluePrints.
  • 1 year experience updating and managing construction data including milestone dates, requests for information (RFI), design changes, and change orders.
