Your Job Purpose:

As an LSS QAQC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of hazardous production material (HPM) systems, fire alarms, security systems, smoke alarms, fire alarms, heat detectors, monitoring, and communication devices. You will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and ensuring the functionality and adherence to specifications and regulations of these critical systems.

 

Your Job Description:

1.            System Inspection and Evaluation:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of HPM systems, fire alarms, security systems, and related equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with technical specifications and codes.
  • Evaluate system performance and identify any deviations from design or standards.
  • Provide input into system design and modifications to enhance efficiency and compliance.

2.            Technical Documentation Proficiency:

  • Review and interpret technical documentation, including system layouts, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, and specifications.
  • Ensure that installations adhere to provided documentation and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.

3.            Code Compliance:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of relevant codes and regulations governing HPM systems, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Ensure installations meet all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Advise on necessary modifications to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

4.            Walkdowns and Site Inspections:

  • Conduct walkdowns of installations to verify alignment with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to address any discrepancies or deficiencies identified during inspections.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule and conduct site inspections as required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient understanding of HPM systems, fire alarms, security systems, smoke alarms, fire alarms, heat detectors, monitoring, and communication devices.
  • Experience in reviewing technical documentation, including system layouts, wiring diagrams, and equipment schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations governing system installations and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards.
  • Telecom skills preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control roles within a similar industry is advantageous.
