Your Job Purpose:
As an Electrical Operations Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of various electrical systems.
Your Job Description:
- Monitor, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment including low voltage power distribution panels, transformers, emergency generators, and uninterruptable power supplies.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform necessary repairs, replacements, or adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with other Technicians and Engineers to optimize system performance, minimize downtime, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Actuate circuit breakers to enable de-energized work to be completed by trade partners.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have time served in the electrical trades or a Diploma in electrical engineering plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- New Mexico Journeyman’s electrical license preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and emergencies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment operation and maintenance.
