Two LotusWorkers based in HQ are packing up and headed for new adventures in Qatar and Japan. Jake Dykes, Marketing Assistant, and Aidan O’Connor, Calibration Coordinator, will leave LotusWorks company at the end of July.

Their colleagues at HQ don’t like to see either leave but are also delighted for both guys as great opportunities and life experiences await both Jake and Aidan. The entire office wishes both the best of luck as they take the next exciting chapter of their careers.

Here’s what Jake & Aidan had to say:

Jake Dykes | LotusWorks Marketing Assistant
“My time at LotusWorks has been brilliant. I’ve learned so much from the people around me which will stick with me moving forward.
My role in marketing enabled me to get out to the site and interact with people from all over Ireland. It was great to meet so many LotusWorkers in a short space of time. I’ll miss the craic with everybody in the office. The culture within the company would be hard to replicate anywhere else so that is something I will definitely miss.

I will be moving to Doha, Qatar mid-August after signing a professional football deal. It was something that I couldn’t turn down for many reasons. I will also be Head of Marketing for the football club which is an added bonus.”

Aidan O’Connor | LotusWorks Calibration Coordinator
“I was first taken on as an inspection tech on a client site in Cork. For the last two and a half years, I’ve been a calibration Co-Ordinator in the Calibration Laboratory in Sligo, head office.
LotusWorks retains a family- like culture. You never feel isolated and always included. This will be hard to find in other work environments which I will dearly miss.
I am moving to Japan in early August to teach English in Ibaraki, near Tokyo. Ganbattemasu! (I will do my best!)”
