Your Job Purpose:

As a Quality Engineer you will be working with the LotusWorks team based in Head Office and also with our client sites throughout Ireland.


Your Job Description:

  • Follow up and Implement Corrective and Preventative Actions.
  • Prepare for ISO17025/ISO9001 External Audits.
  • Liaise with external auditors on certification audits and surveillance visits and also involved with Customer Audits.
  • Conduct ISO 9001 & ISO17025 Internal Audits
  • Conduct Supplier Audits, compile audit reports and follow up with actions.
  • Conduct audits on client sites and ensure compliance to their regulated environment.
  • Update controlled Documents by using our internal management system.
  • Investigate customer complaints, supplier complaints and internal non-conformances.
  • Lead / participates in Analysis, investigation, and corrective action of Process issues / complaints, using Good quality engineering tools such as (pFMEA, SE, cause and effect analysis, Root Cause investigation Methods).
  • Participates in Business Risk Management Processes
  • Ensure effective closure on Quality System documents (Audit Actions, NCR’s, CAPA’s, Maps, etc).
  • Liaising with Quality Department to implement and control Objectives and Targets.
  • Create Reports on Quality / process performance metrics.
  • Maintain and develop risk management lifecycle.


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality / Materials / Science or similar.
  • At least five year’s work experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control environment is essential and within a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles
  • Certified Lead Auditor
  • Full driver’s licences is essential and open to national travel.
  • Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one’s own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
  • Experience in maintaining an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 17025 Calibration Management System.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
