On Thursday September 15th the North West Hospice held their annual “Coffee Morning”, where people across Sligo and Leitrim were asked to donate €2 per cup of coffee. LotusWorker, Sharon Kearns, was delighted to get involved and decided to host a coffee morning at LotusWorks HQ.
North West Hospice provides specialist care with compassion for those living with life-limiting illness in the Sligo/Leitrim community and in an effort to entice the appetite and encourage donations, Sharon baked some delicious goodies for the team. The in-house coffee morning and baking went down a treat with all LotusWorkers, helping to raise €500 for the North West Hospice Sligo.
“All of us at one stage or another will become aware of the great work that the NWH provides and the generosity shown by LotusWorkers was staggering” says Sharon Kearns.
